Harvey Haddix Pirates locker plate at Milwaukee
I found a neat complimentary piece for my Harvey Haddix mini-collection.
Here is a Harvey Haddix early 1960's locker plate that came out of the collection of the former trainer for the Milwaukee Braves. The fact that the locker plate has Old Milwaukee as the sponsor was too good to pass up because of Haddix's link to Milwaukee's County Stadium. On May 26th, 1959 @ Milwaukee Pirates pitcher Harvey Haddix pitched what was arguably one of the greatest games of all-time. He hurled over 12 innings of perfect ball before giving up his 1st hit and ultimately losing the game in the 13th inning. Last edited by Scott Garner; 03-08-2021 at 08:44 AM.
