The coin paper flips and top loaders are the standard holders. Unlike cards, pins and coins are sturdy, so there much less concern about protection.
Unless you have a pressing need, there's no need to send them to PSA. Unless perhaps you have a spectacular card or coin. I've always liked the various pins and coins, especially the Armour Coins.
