There is a variation of the Paul Gibson card in which the guy in the background is missing his right arm

I went and looked up the other 1953 Topps mentioned. None of them are as good as the original card posted. But the Byrd is the next best example.

That looks like the rare variation where the Griffith Stadium ground crew finished off rolling out the tarp with a beheading of Louis XVI for the amusement of Senators fans. Nice catch.

A few new ones, some already mentioned, two maybes (Reese, Nuxhall)
