I don't know enough about Griffey's signature, but as someone who collects lineup cards, and thinks they are a very overlooked item, it is cool to know that at least one made it to Cooperstown. I don't recall seeing any when I went to Cooperstown a number of years back.
I actually have the lineup from the 1st time the next father/son pair played in the same game (Raines Sr and Jr) |

The Baseball Hall of Fame doesn't purchase anything so that item would have likely have been donated by one of the teams or possibly the home plate umpire. I would assume the HOF has provenance on the item.
I supposed a collector could have had the signatures forged and donated it but I don't see the point as there's no financial gain to be had. |
