I have bought/sold/traded a boat full of cards over the last 30+ years. I prefer to trade when possible. Provenance is what makes my favorite baseball bat my favorite. Famous drag racer Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen was also a big Wade Boggs fan. I purchased a semi rare Wade Boggs bat from his estate when he passed about 3 years ago. |

I wouldn't be sitting here now with a complete, 160/160 Bowman color set if not for a BIG trade I made to get me started on collecting it. I only gave up duplicates of what I still have to do it.

I keep track of where, when and how much I paid for something. But provenance/history that comes with the card is best.
