I am a big Mavericks fan, and although I don't typically collect basketball, I bought 4 Luka rookie cards late in his rookie season. I paid around $5,000 for all four, and as of a few weeks ago those four cards are selling for over $30,000 combined. You will see spikes when he has a great game and dips when he has a bad game, but overall, his market is headed up very quickly. I don't know if he'll ever get to the level of Lebron, but he certainly has the talent to do so. Dirk is one of my favorite players of all time, but Luka has the chance to be a top-5 player of all time if he stays healthy.
