This also reminded me of another program that i used in the past and works very well. It's Ransenscan http://www.ransensoftware.com/RansenScan/Default.htm
This scanner software will not only automatically straighten scans, it will separate multiple items into separate files. So if you put 4 cards on the scanner bed, the program can scan them, adjust them, and then create 4 separate files as opposed to one you then have to crop and adjust afterward. It costs $30.
