Soaking cards in the winter

I had no clue that you could soak modern card-stock.

There is no point in soaking cheap cards - complete waste of time. Also, if you put them next to the fireplace like that, they are going to curl up and get ruined!

Then again, not much lost if they get ruined. Whatever makes it a fun hobby I am all in. And just think, the ever present possibility of one of the cards igniting!

I soak cheap cards frequently. As a low grade set collector, I generally don't like glue on the back or album paper so I soak 'em. Larry's cards here are also great candidates because they won't go in a binder curled like that but would be fine after once they're good and dry.
