There is no point in soaking cheap cards - complete waste of time. Also, if you put them next to the fireplace like that, they are going to curl up and get ruined!

I soak cheap cards frequently. As a low grade set collector, I generally don't like glue on the back or album paper so I soak 'em. Larry's cards here are also great candidates because they won't go in a binder curled like that but would be fine after once they're good and dry.
