Thanks guys. Never would have thought of the hockey thing. Wondering if this was used for baseball or hockey. I guess it could have been either or both.

YES! Looks like a hybrid combination of a baseball glove with hockey catcher glove. Goalie gloves didn't have fingers. Baseball gloves didn't have arm protection.

The glove itself is actually somewhat valuable. It is a Heart of the Hide and those gloves are considered the top retail model. I know Mantle and other Heart of the Hide gloves generally sell for much more than regular store models.
