I would be interesting to count all the numerous threads on 54 that berate Dean, Levi, Yepdog and others for asking so much for their cards

At the time their prices were insanely high compared to others.

I was looking for some tobacco cards a few nights ago and Dean had the best overall prices by a long ways. Still to high for me though.

About Dean's Cards together with the recent Gehrig thread.

Saw on ebay Dean's has a 1926-29 Exhibit Lou Gehrig PSA 1 for sale ... $20,220.00 Wow! So tough to gauge current market for some cards that rarely come up for sale. But given the 1925 Gehrig price, do you think this $20.k is anywhere near realistic for the 1926/29 ?

Thats a huge increase over even a year ago. And then we can talk about the 1920's Ruth Exhibits - how high on these cards in today's market? Whew, pinch me I must be dreaming!

there are many desirable cards on ebay where the prices increase hundreds of percentage points on a day to day basis. Mostly fishing imo.

That one has been up at that price on ebay for a long time before the sale I believe. I'd be shocked if that one sold for that asking.

Card prices are so crazy, Kanye West looked at them and was like, “Yo, you should get some help.”

Card prices are so high right now, the FBI started trimming and altering their evidence lockers.
