Erik that is great. This is what gives me the idea of a pennant “checklist”, with pictures grouped not by team but by series. There are actually quite a few that can be easily grouped - like these. Also the WGNs a few posts above. Trench pennants can be grouped by their trademark.

Here’s an example that I found online because I recently picked up the Pirates pennant. All of these were sold as a group in an old auction ... it certainly suggests that these are from the same manufacturer at about the same time. The Bees pennant dates this to 1936-1940. I suspect that these are early Trench but that’s just a guess.

I know there are avid team and sport-specific collectors here, but I do like the idea of ‘sets’ and knowing what comprises of a complete set/pennant run.

I'm ready for Greg to start a website, maybe similar to what Fballguy has for football pennants, grouping pennants by maker/series.

Should be pretty easy. He can just take a picture of each wall in his house.

I recently picked up another 1934 Tiger cane pennant in a bulk deal I recently did. I've been on the fence about what to do with it since I already own one and see no point having two of them. I figured I'd offer it up here before moving on to an auction house. The pennant is made from a silk like material so it can be rolled up and stored in the tube. Once its stored it doubles as a cane. Pennant has some spots from being stored inside the metal tube but nothing major. Overall the pennant is in good shape and displays nice. The most recent sale was this past summer through Hunt Auctions and their pennant sold for $1200. I'm asking $850 OBO. I have more pictures if someone is interested so just shoot me a message.

These are the fairly identifiable makers, some of which can loosely be grouped by series/time period (thanks to KB for info) .. some whose maker is unknown, I give an example of the pennant

Trench early 50s team logo and generic block lettering
Trench mid 50s TMC trademark (mostly stadium pennants)
Trench 1960s SS baseball trademark
Trench team picture pennants 1960-early 70s
Trench 1969 MLB
WGN 1950-52
Ad Flag 1950-?
Keezer (early 50s-60s)
Keezer (late 60s pictured above)
ASCO 1969 MLB cloth
ASCO early MLB 70s felt
Unknown maker (Cinderella Boys NYG pennant) 1940s-50s
Unknown maker (sliding base runner pennants, Phila blue Jay)
BF3 mid 1930s
Unknown maker (Trench?) wheel pictured above, also Jackie, Doby, Paige
Grommet pennants (St. Louis company?) 1930s-40s and earlier?
Collegiate (3D, only four teams known)
Unknown maker 1910s (“BBC” oversized)
Unknown maker 1900s-1910s (leather graphic, oversized)
Unknown maker 1930s baseball scene in stadium with flags
Unknown maker, stadium pennants where every stadium looks like the Vet (see above)

^^^ I’d love to see you group those in a Google album because I sometimes don’t know what the hell you guys are talking about!

Edit: and once I knew what you were talking about, I might be able to add some. Others might help, as well.

I agree that some type of webpage or Google photos album would be cool, if you had time to make it. I'm sure that it would be a lot of work.

Not distract from the series discussion... but what in the heck is going on with this pennant? I know we have some Dodgers collectors on here. We have a combo of Dodgers and Chinatown and Yankee Stadium? A bit of fall harvest? It looks half accident and half purposeful.

There are six Keezer Phillies in this pic, three full-size and three different minis. The one pictured solo seems to be of similar style (and size?) to the mini FB pennants, I haven’t seen this cartoon graphic (which once appeared on a yearbook cover) on anything but Keezer..

I should add, I have most teams in the smaller 9” Keezers and some but not all of them are stamped on the back …

Erik that Angels is super rare, I’d never seen it before. So it seems they were making these as late as 1969, has anyone ever seen a Pilots?

Erik- Here is a better image of the Giants (which is mine) and two others (not mine).

A complete (I believe) group of the football pennants sold earlier this year, pennant by pennant. That is when I got the 49ers. Can probably find them all on worthpoint, although they were not listed as Keezer.

Yes all are rare, I seem to see the Tigers more than others. I’m guessing these were exactly from 1969 due to the generic nature of the three expansion teams.

I’ve never seen the Reds in this series….

Default Stadium Series

If someone wanted to put together a set of the Stadium pennants by Trench, which ones would be needed as some teams had multiples and some did not?

Wow, I’ve never seen the White Sox or Padres before those pictures. What a scarce set!

Maybe you talked about this recently and I’m behind in the thread, but Keezer also had baseball pennants with a similar design to the football ones discussed, correct? Marc, you have an Astros?

That's a really nice pennant. I love the look of it.

Are those Baseball Keezer pennants mini pennants like the football or full size?
