PSA and Paper Loss

Hey, wanted to get input on how PSA treats paperloss on vintage cards. I have a 1949 Bowman Jackie Robinson card in an SGC holder, thinking about sending it to PSA. If anyone wants to straight-up guess what grade PSA would give it, that's cool, but I'm mostly just looking to get input on what the paper loss on the back would "cap" the grade at. Thanks!

If I had to guess I’d say no higher than a 2. I haven’t been around too long but I don’t recall seeing a card with paper loss graded higher than a 2. Maybe they’d bump it to 2.5?

It’s painful to reduce so much for that, but I’m thinking they gave a 1 or 1.5 for this.

2 at best, probably a 1.5, but it's a nice looking 1.5

Generally, I've seen PSA knock a card with paper loss like that down to a PSA 1.5. If they are feeling generous you might get a PSA 2.

1.5 for a really nice card (like yours), but a 1 for most. I have never seen 2 with paper loss. Nice Jackie.

Thanks everyone for the input. You guys are all sharp, this card is currently in an SGC 1.5 holder hah. I'll probably end up keeping it as is, but was curious about crossover potential. Thanks!
