I have to go with the two players/cards that sparked my life-long collecting interest in Cleveland Indians baseball cards and memorabilia. This was my team and those were my heroes as a kid.

One of my favorites from the second year of my collecting obsession - at nine years old, I had heard of WWII, but knew almost nothing of the players who participated in it. Later became a fan of guys who sacrificed as much as Lou.
