I rec'd this autograph and a couple others from Brooks in-person about 5-6 years ago when I was helping out at a MAB show in MD....I think because of what he was signing (underneath the bill of a hat) and the way he had to hold it, he didn't use any slants....

Alan....Thanks for remembering Elrod...So many kids in Baltimore (and elsewhere) got their very first autograph from him!

Bill I was at a KC game against the Orioles in KC and Elrod was a bench coach. I’m the only guy in KC with an Orioles jersey on and probably the only one who knew who he was. I asked for his auto after the game and got snubbed. I didn’t hold it against him but come on man show a little love.��
