Such cool stuff! Thanks for sharing everyone and Ted thanks always for your memories and zest for this amazing hobby! I just ordered this photo on Ebay. Same photo used for his 1949 Bowman!

Imagine....what if Satchell Paige started in the Major's in 1926
It sounds nice, doesn't it? But Paige would not have lasted in the majors. He would have signed a contract with a team, and then after a few months, quit on them. Why?
