Larry Doby
In 1947, Larry had only 32 At Bats. The following year when Satchell Paige joined the Indians, Doby played in 121 games (BA = .301).
He batted .318 in the World Series. I think he was overshadowed by Paige's enormous popularity back then.   TED Z T206 Reference .
