First old card I ever got.

Unlikely I would ever spend the $$ to upgrade this one.

When it comes to Venezuelan Topps cards, this is actually pretty good condition.

Find me another one...

I have several cards that would fit well in this thread, but here are just a couple for now.

I think Brian Parker could win this thread if it was a competition.

This Brian fellow sounds like my kind of guy. I might try to come up with some scans to offer some stiff competition. Although there was a fellow collector on here, a Mr.Hatch, who is no longer active, that I used to send some of my rejects, so I think it is probable that he would have the winning hand when it comes to downright ugly.

Brian

This thread is terrific. Those are some well loved cards!

I wish I had a scanner at hand, as I have a few that would contribute nicely. I've been thinking of sending them off to PSA just for fun. The $10 doesn't bother me. Waiting the better part of a year to get them back though....

Beat up Ruth card with pin hole (nail hole?) right in the middle. I imagine it being tacked to some kid's wall or headboard back in the 1930's...and that's pretty cool.
