I haven't seen that in a long time. The earlier toploaders did have plastic that was uneven and sometimes had tiny inclusions.
Was it a brand new package? I can maybe see someone putting old holders into a new package, but to me that seems like way too much work. More likely is a lack of QC related to much higher demand. |

My number one complaint with UP toploaders recently, is that a number of them in any pack will be warped or bent in some way that's hard to straighten out. When I buy from my LCS, I can kind of eyeball the packaging to tell, but if you are doing mail order it can be a disaster. For this reason just within the last year, I have kind of began to favor Card Savers again more than toploaders for stuff, singles, etc. that for whatever reason are not in a One Touch type case.
