Last week a fantastic Net54er got ahold of me about a group of B18s he had picked up. Fortunately, he saw my signature line on a post, B18s, and thought of me. Helps that we have done multiple transactions. He sent me an email asking for my want list which I gladly send. Low and behold, he has 57 of them. Without question, he packs them up and sends them to me. Without negotiation, we agree on a fair price for both of us. By adding this group of 57, I am only 18 Blankets away from the 181 set, no I'm not going to chase the "Reds" There are truly some amazing people here. They treat you fair and honor. Reputation is more precious than any of my possessions, guard it folks.

Kris Sweckard you are a treasure to this community. Thank you sir.

Here is how my set looks in their binders. My new additions are already put away.

Default Final T206

Finally finished the T206 set at 520 with this Cobby.

Waited for the right one for a very long time, but this felt like the one.

So very grateful for all of the help from the Board on the set over the past few years as well.

Great story. Honor, integrity, trust, keeping your word, being grateful and letting people that helped you know it. Seems so out of fashion doesn't it? But so refreshing when you find people who believe in those values.

I've sent complete strangers thousands of dollars based on the word of another member here and it's the best feeling in the world.

Love to hear stories like this one. So many great people in this hobby, including on the business end. I've always been proud to be associated with it, even through some dark times brought on by a few rotten apples.

Default 1939 R303A Crosetti Upgrade

...Goudey Premium , much needed uograde -- the smaller sepia version ; a bit over 4 x 6 ....the bottom newspaper clipping is a re-arranging of their famous Glossy and Leather versions of poses of the 1936 National Chicle R311 Premium......this never made it into circulation beyond their yearbook and some newspaper files.....we '35 Tigers fans know it as '' the no caps / batboy up in the back''......that's their mascot Joe Roggin up there next to Chief Hogsett, who had to be the happiest kid in all of Detroit Michigan in 1935.....
