It definitely is a brighter than normal scan/pic so that might attribute to its to good to be true appearance, but I'm not the guy to make the call one way or another.

I gotta ask, is this something (if it was actually legit) that you could get at a great price? Or does the asking price line up with what you 'should' pay? Because, as knowledgeable as everyone is here, there is a chance we are wrong. Perhaps you should consider working out a strict, confirmed return policy option with the seller, in case you think it's worth a shot. Certainly something to think about.

Personally I don't like that the black border goes all the way to the blue at the top of the card. It actually touches the blue section. I looked at several real examples online just now and they all have a break before the black lines touch the blue. That leads me to believe this is a counterfeit.

I saw a PSA 5.5 that also had the black lines touching the blue, but I believe these are all fakes that got past the graders. If I was in the market for one I'd want one with the break before the blue. That seems to be to most common shared characteristic on the truly authentic ones. There are so many fakes of this card that I can easily see PSA and SGC grading some of the fakes in error. This one just isn't that sharp, although the image is a terrible one as well. But it has a fake look to it in my opinion. Andy .
