Default 1929 Kashin

I love em. A lot of those 33 Goudey poses were taken directly from the Kashin photos and it's still an affordable Ruth since there was one in every pack.

Still looking for a nice graded Ott, Foxx, Hornsby, Grove, and O'Doul to complete my checklist. So if you know a guy that knows a guy, let me know.

There was a ruth in every pack???? I did not know that? While still relatively affordable in relation to many other ruth issues...they have enjoyed significant growth last year or so.

Not every pack per se, but every box. You could either buy a pack or a box. Putting Ruth in all the boxes is what created the 4 short prints.

Here's a good read on the Kashin set.

I can't imagine what one with printing on the back would go for.

thx for that...interesting. you could theoretically buy 4 packs a end up with a complete set!!!! I wonder how much the packs were. I think the lack of clarity of the images also affects the value...in addition to the size...size matters!

Actually the boxes these were sold in were color coded...so that buy buying the 4 diff colored boxes you'd have a set...interesting.

+1 And a Ruth in every box. How good is that? He was a 4x print!

These are from my previous collection. No doubt some board members own some of them now.

The nice thing they come in the same holder as a Rose postcard, 4-on-1 exhibits, and 71 Topps greatest moments cards so they all stack up pretty nicely.
