Most painful "miss" for me. I kept waiting for the right time/card. Woops! I'll never own a really nice copy now. I have a short list of cards I wanted to add and they're all way out of my range now. Actually, collecting graded cards is over for me, it appears.

I agree with this statement. Alcindor and Cousy rookies for me. Although it’s getting harder to find ungraded cards. All the decent ones listed on eBay get snapped up by people that are planning on sending them in to be graded since it now is a big money grab. Kinda takes the joy out of collecting for me.

My error on the Bird/Johnson card occurred almost 40 years ago, when I decided that Bird and Johnson each should have their own card.

Brian (dohhhh!)

I remember looking for a really nicely centered LT rookie back in the 80's in college. So like PSA 9-10 of LT rookie are crazy? Cuz I see tons of nice raw cards real real cheap???

If this is the case...This type of runup would concern me...compared to goudey ruths for example which have appreciated nicely graded/graded poorly/raw/beat to piss.

PSA 9 LT's are $900-$1000. It's...Yeah it's weird. Deion 10's tracking $750-$900. He's closed the gap on PSA 10 89 Score Barry Sanders.

The 1997 WWF Trivia Rocky Mavia is in the running. Was a $50 card in a 9 and one just closed at $2,426.

There are so many cards up 5 to 10 fold but 40+ fold is really solid.

A year ago Luka Doncic Prizm rookies were $15-20. Today they are $400-500 raw.

I will go with some of the obvious--All Goudey Ruths---Mantle Rookies and 2nd year Mantle---Jackie--T206's (Southern Leaguers especially)---Basketball Rookies such as Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Julius.---I am not into the new cards, but I know they have gone crazy.--I guess the last 6 months, most all cards have moved up for sure.

Default Not just sports cards are crazy

Last year I sent some Pokemon in on one of Bobby's bulk subs. Included were 3 Japanese Base Charizard that were under 100 unless it came back a 10. The one that came back a 10 was worth a few hundred A PSA 10 just sold on eBay for 17,000.00.
