 I just remember driving around on a Saturday night with my friend Dave looking for something to do, aged 16-17, blasting Van Halen. Part of the soundtrack of my high school years. I drove home today on some of the same roads blasting VH and crying. The last notes of Beautiful Girls played just as I pulled into my driveway, which seemed like an appropriate tribute to the soul of the party band of my youth. Now, I'm a seaside sittin', just a smokin' and a drinkin'; I'm ringside, on top of the world. I got a drink in my hand; I got my toes in the sand. All I need is a beautiful girl. RIP Eddie.
