Can't decide which piece I like more. Both are spectacular!

Were those both in Hake's?

Been chasing one of these Rivera save balls for a while. Happy to win this one from Opening Day at the stadium on April 11, 2006. I looked up the play by play and saw the last out was a liner back to Mo:

I'll try as soon as I get out of this sling. It's pretty hard to do anything right now with my left hand. Ugh!

Picked up 2 snapshots early this month. One of Gehrigh and one of Babe with same child. Also came with newspaper letter from the child, now much older, about the photos.











and then to end the month, I picked up this beautiful Type 1 Gehrig. Never seen this pose before. Wish the face was not in shadow as much, but still great

Given he does not have a hat in the shot with Babe, it would make sense Lou took his off and put it on the kid.

It seems that Lou took off his cap and put it on kids for photos before, so it makes sense here. Here is a photo from my collection with Chrsity Walsh's son where he did the same.
