When you change the mode, you notice the screen rotates to show the new "up"? But you have turned the camera, up and down does not change in reality. The software makes it look like it has changed. The forum doesn't know anything about the fake "up" you had set on your camera, it is only seeing the image as how it is actually taken by the camera.
Basically, the picture is sideways because you held the camera sideways to take the picture. Last edited by Tripredacus; 09-23-2020 at 02:59 PM.
