Great pick-up on the M101-1 Wagner. I was fortunate enough to own two of those over the years. I believe that I was also the first to have the M101-1's graded and encapsulated by Beckett back around 2010 as they were the only TPG at the time with holders large enough for them to fit.
This is a wonderful set, in conjunction with the National Copper Plate series, for collecting HOF rookies as it represents the earliest nationally distributed paper issue for numerous HOF'ers in addition to Honus: Jack Chesbro Hugh Jennings Nap Lajoie Fred Clarke Joe Kelley ** Jimmy Collins ** John McGraw ** Willie Keeler ** Frank Chance Elmer Flick ** Joe McGinnity Rube Waddell Bobby Wallace ** Vic Willis ** Cy Young ** Also appears in the 1898-99 National Copper Plate series Last edited by bcbgcbrcb; 09-19-2020 at 08:59 AM.
