In 1969, Game 1 of the World Series, Don Buford homers off Tom Seaver in his first ever WS at bat. Buford is greeted by Jay Mazzone, the Orioles bat boy, along with the rest of the Orioles dugout including Brooks with open arms ready to offer his congratulations.
