Pete, incredible pick up. Congrats!

I am sorry to follow that amazing post card with these, but I am too excited not to post my most recent pickups. The (Connecticut) Wagner and the Doyle come from the collection that was shown in the Detroit Institute of ArtS for two years. Needless to say, I am tickled. I will try to post bigger/better pics later.

Default T206 scarce variations now complete

The Demmitt has been posted already in the thread, but I finally received the Smith (Chicago & Boston) variation today.

Been tinkering with this graphic of the scarcer variations in my set for a while, and now pleased to complete it.

At 518/520 on the Monster in PSA 4-5, and it's been a heck of a fun ride. Lots of good friends made along the way.
Nearly there now...

Ryan, Congrats on three awesome cards. That Wagner is incredible. I knew you would pick one up, just didn’t think you were going to do it the next day.

Also, great pick ups by all. Enjoy your new cards...

Picked up this possible M116 proof of Barney Pelty. I've seen suggestions that these cards may have come from an advertising piece, but I believe them to be proofs. If this card came from an advertising piece, the piece would have had to have been huge. This card originally appeared in a lot of 65 other "proofs". A poster that size would have been beautiful:

I don't think a Christy Mathewson is ever a letdown. I don't have anything with his name on it! Great pick up. Congrats!

Thank you Ryan.

Here are a few additional new pick ups. I have too much free time, with all my NYC customers closed down/boarded up, I’m playing online poker and buying cards.

I don’t think he has completed the set. He just likes Wagner and Cobb, major hof’ers, and rare backs/ combos. Ryan, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you have any commons unless they have a truly tough back, do you? And that is really sweet! Congrats, man.

wow. congrats man. THE grail.

PS will trade you - take my wife.

She's not vintage; only 29 so she comes from the junk era. good centering; and rounded corners; with very good eye appeal for the age. rare back!

Hmmm. I rarely post anything on this side of the Net54...
I am really starting to enjoy these little cards. Maybe a little too much.

Usually, I collect game used bats.
I do not think this is an addiction I should be starting...but they are so colorful...

It is pay back time my friend. You are about to start receiving pics of tobacco cards on a regular basis.

I am sorry to follow that amazing post card with these, but I am too excited not to post my most recent pickups. The (Detroit) Wagner and the Doyle come from the collection that was shown in the Detroit Institute of ArtS for two years. Needless to say, I am tickled. I will try to post bigger/better pics later.
If SGC does not have a red carpet they need to get one. They are less that $20 on Amazon!

Nice to see the T206 Wagner and Doyle together.
