The Ward side-to-side comparison makes it obvious that it’s a reprint. Look at the shading below the arm and especially below the bill of the cap. It’s very subtle but the copier used assumed too much and darkened it in considerably.
I didn’t notice anything obviously wrong about the N172s except the selection seemed a bit too nice, not enough commons. Last edited by egbeachley; 06-05-2020 at 10:38 PM.

Derek, I hope you got a good one. I have not seen it w/o a number, maybe it's worn away. I did have a $500 bid on the Mack. The N28 Ward looks super fake. I would bid on the McCormick, but I was hoping the OJ book guys might weigh in, but maybe they are bidding. I hate buying fakes and having Jay tell me, "Sorry, Rob, send it back and get your money back." He has a Sid Farrar coming up. I dunno, when I was younger I might have rolled the dice.
