Thank you for the comments everyone!
I thought the green REALLY made the colors jump forward.
When I was choosing colors in the shop, I settled on that immediately.
(I also mentioned several times in this thread I had to try and steer clear of "heavy red" cards) Looking over all of the standard issue Mantles, red is a very predominant color. I needed to try and mix it up so it would have the contrast I wanted.
I mentioned a couple times looking for good "clarity"/no snow, no major creases etc..... and I think it helped the overall look, even though the centering isn't "great" on a few.

I am tinkering with the idea of a Clemente project like this, but getting one of his autos will make it expensive. (The cards would be a touch cheaper though)

We shall see.

I like, no, love how it turned out. I'm inspired to do something like this too. It might be more towards the 75 set which was the 1st set I collected as a kid. But who knows? Got to jot down the ideas, assess what could be enjoyable from start to finish and go for it.

Just saw this - awesome piece and good choice of background to make the cards pop forward. Chalk one up for just enjoying our cards! Thanks.
