The first link is cards 1-400. The second link is cards 401-484. Apparently the limit is 400.....lol
I was not going to look but curiosity got the best of me. The cards submitted were fairly graded. One or two surprises in my favor. One card with evidence of trimming. Makes me feel guilty of wrongdoing. I purchased that card at a Tuff-Stuff show in Richmond, Virginia back in the 90's. Disheartening. I want to believe that the dealer was unaware that the card had been trimmed. Oh well.

Thank you Bobby.

I have some bad news. I have lost a member's card. This is a first for me. I feel like total shit. I don't think I can do these subs anymore.

Bobby, I hope you will find it.
I forgot to request no qualifiers and received one OC. I used my "Grademaster Card Centering Tool" and with it the card appeared to not warrant an OC. Oh well.
I received one N8, Miscut. The front looks good but I'm guessing the reverse is miscut. I didn't scan the reverse.
I also received one N6.
There are a few disappointments but I'm learning.
Thanks Bobby for your time and effort.

What was the value of the lost card? When I pay you to ship my cards to me, I am more than happy to include an extra $20 to compensate the person for the lost card... accidents happen and you shouldn't be help responsible... you are going out on a limb and doing us all a huge favor with these group subs, while also taking on all the risk.

Maybe if more people add an extra $20 to their shipping cost you can make the person's card you lost whole while also not having to come out of pocket?

Really appreciate you running these... i dont have the time, patience or knowledge to do own subs.

Taylor

The card was only a $50-$100 card....the money isn't the problem....the problem is that it is hard to find...It was a rare 1961 Union Oil card.....I personally have never even heard of the issue.

I second the thanks for doing this, and to say you can't beat yourself up about one mistake. You handle hundreds of cards in these subs, and do us all a great service. To make ONLY one mistake among hundreds is actually VERY impressive and a testament to the care you put into this.

Bobby - as I've said B4, sometimes shit happens despite your best efforts to avoid it. So, stop beating yourself up over this. After all, it's only a damn piece of cardboard. Ain't the end of the world. As many have said above, thanks for taking on this task.

The only saving grace from the cards I submitted is the 1968 Topps Mantle that I cracked out of a PSA 7 ST slab to wipe away a bit of wax/gum residue (post #17), came back as a straight, stainless PSA 7. With my luck, I was expecting it to somehow drop to a 5 or 6.

That's the way it should be. I cleaned a 1961 Fleer Walt Bellamy PSA 9 (ST) and got a straight 9. Man, I wish I still had that one back!!
