It is likely referring to T3 Turkey Red cards (which were available with other brands via mail in and possibly point of sale redemptions, we just call them Turkey Red because of the ad backed varieties that have been found but they were not exclusive to that brand.) The Turkish Trophies brand is advertised on the Non-sports version of the T3’s featuring the “Hamilton King girls” (T7’s). They also were one of the main brands associated with S81 silks and L1 leathers.
They have sold some adverting pieces that showed the 3 issues together in an attractive display over the years.

was very similar - believe this may be Wonka's.... It's a top drawer kind of item and pricey. I sold mine because at the time I couldn't afford to keep it. Regret it a little now, While a small number exist I believe that many may be marriages - with replacement of a silk or leather topic by a more desirable one - original but not originally in the piece...Probably not much wrong with that as initially the subjects were arbitrary - but like everything - if you know you that to be the case you should disclose...

Don't think I would describe either the L1 Leathers or the S74s or S81 silks as a "photo print."

just thought I'd show the premium piece as it's quite scarce.
BTW: I think the question was asked and answered. Beyond that the pack denotes "insist on getting....". If it was in the pack already - well you can supply the rest..... Last edited by 1880nonsports; 05-21-2020 at 10:30 AM. |

Hello,
No Turkey Red coupons in these boxes. Coupons were found in Old Mill, Fez and Turkey Red boxes. Best, Craig |

Jerry,
Thanks for sharing the Turkish Trophies box. I noticed information on your box was different from the one that had been on eBay. The one on eBay had: FACTORY NO.7, 8D DIST. STATE OF NEW YORK. Whereas your box had: FACTORY No. 8- 5th DIST. STATE OF NEW JERSEY Perhaps the Factory numbers and District information will help determine what items might have been either available in the boxes or as a premium you could ask for when purchasing the tobacco product. Is there a tax date on your box Jerry? Patrick Last edited by Vintagecatcher; 05-21-2020 at 06:34 PM. |
