Every copy I have ever seen of this card (seems like a lot), all have some red ink that bleeds into the right side of the card number's baseball. The amounts vary, but on all I have seen have some sort of red into the baseball. This shift of red is likely the cause of this variation anyway.....of course he could have the rarest version, the only no red in ball but partial "R".
Just like the 57 Buhl card only on copies were red is into the baseball is the "R." in Robert "R." Buhl missing the top part of the R. Very fishy. Last edited by savedfrommyspokes; 05-13-2020 at 07:36 AM.

Here is an image of the Buhl card, just like with the Bakep, I have not seen any copies of the Buhl with the partial "R" middle initial without red in the ball.
