1949 BOWMAN "Slate" cards
Hi Tony
I prefer to refer to these printing errors as "Slate" cards. Although a good majority of these Slate cards are hand-cut from BOWMAN sheets such as the one I've shown here, there are also a fair amount of these cards that were factory-cut and included in BOWMAN 5-cent packs in 1949.
