Default Topps Vault Question

I saw somewhere that one of the contributors here is associated with the Topps Vault, but I can't find the thread again.

I've got a Paul Blair player collection and have two of the four film positives from his 1978 Topps card. I think I have magenta and yellow. I would love to get my hands on the other two, but I have no idea how the Topps Vault works with respect to what is offered for bid on eBay and if there are records indicating whether or not the other two have been previously auctioned off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Last I heard Mike Jasperson is the guy who does the current vault listings. Don't know if he is a member here though.

I got curious and started looking. I guess Jasperson moved on. I found this in a 2018 article, so maybe this guy is still around?

"Francis Miceli of Topps handles The Topps Vault sales now and stays in touch with Jaspersen."

I don’t remember seeing a thread that included someone associated with the Topps Vault, but who knows.

I’m not sure Topps has a record of the items in the vault. I know so many items went out “the back door” prior to Topps having thetoppsvault on eBay. Also, you may want to check the 1989 Topps Vaults Guernsey auction to see what sold there. There was a ton of great stuff sold.

In regard to Blair; what type of items do you collect?

Trading cards and postcards. I've got 127 unique items in the collection. From the Trading Card Database, I've identified another 58 items I don't have, though that includes a couple categories I have little interest in: cut signature cards and those stamped buybacks that Topps seeds in Heritage each year.

Sounds like a fun collection. Blair was a great ball player...

Default Blair

While really not cards nor postcards I have at least one photo handy and a couple Paul Blair snapshots.
