Cool Papa Bell
trimmed like there's no tomorrow, but it's the earliest individual image of Cool Papa around...and I think it's the only one. Taken when Cool Papa was with the Cienfuegos team c1929. Yes, it has a postcard back...
 And Kenny, killer postcards! Thanks for taking most (if not all) of the great negro league postcards still floating around out there. Oh, and it was nice to see an Al Jurgela sighting on this forum!

Love that one, Derek. I had a chance to buy it once from a long-time previous owner but let the trimming prevented me from paying the asking price. If the opportunity came up later in my HOF RC collecting days, I probably would have made the purchase. Condition can't deter you from buying 1-of-a-kind cards, you never know when/if you'll ever get another chance.
