As Bill Parcells coined the phrase, "It is what it is." Would I have liked to have bought the T219 ME set, or the n172 Connie Mack rhhh with no oj logo, or the T213-3 overprint Donlin at twice the prices they sold for? While I'm rambling, we need to have "herd immunity" from what I understand.

Coin that phrase.

To say I was disappointed by the results of my Donlon over print would be a massive understatement!

As s consignor i was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Strong bidding despite all the hysteria. Basketball wax and anything Jordan seems to be on the move.

As a buyer I am happy with my purchases. I don’t mind the closing format at all. We all have weeks to get our bids in. I lost out on a few things at the end. I could have bid more earlier or before 12:00. That’s on me.

Looking forward to their next sale.

I was watching this card for the past couple of weeks. I put in a bid early, then I put in a couple of bids during the first extended bidding period. Then, like an idiot, I went to bed and didn't put in a max bid. When I saw the results this morning, I was shocked. It went for less than half of what I expected.

I can see why you are disappointed.

Rick
