Derek, those look like typical german baseball stamps from 1910 like yours, except that some kid has used an old fashioned inkwell and colored in the backgrounds, and the jersey on the Leach.

Here's some in a Johnny Evers book I bought a few years ago. This is just one of the pages of them, with Cobb, Matty, McGraw, Plank and Leach. It does, actually, show Leach with the dark shirt though so perhaps there are variations in this set!

I know there are some subtle differences between the German Transfer Stamps with the team/name listed once vs. twice. Ron, it appears yours are the name and team twice variation.
For now, I know that the Keeler, Spike Shannon, and Frank Smith are different between the once vs twice. It looks like Leach might fall into that camp as well. I will study these some more when I have a spare hour. Wish I had more examples to see/study. Btw, Leon and Ron, those are both very cool! Thanks for sharing!

Ron - I just noticed the Cobb in your group! Very, very cool! I don’t believe he exists in the name/team listed once “sub-set”.

There are multiple sets of these transfers, some in portrait form. They are German-made, sold here. I believe there are 20 or 25 of them in each 'set'(1 sheet). I have some that were 'stuck' to the back of an Exhibit card but I can't find the image right now. I haven't seen the black BG before. There were all sorts of subjects from the same issuer:

Nice posts/images Adam and Ron. Here's my 1909-10 German Stamp Panel (name/team listed once). Compare to the Bresnahan that Ron just posted and you'll see that there is a dark shirt and yellow shirt variation, although that may simply be due to the name/team listed once vs. name/team listed twice phenomenon. Probably some other differences too...
