Turkey Mike taking a load off. This card has a back scratch print line on back.

And look at his hands! Awhile back someone pointed out how huge his hands appear, and now my eyes zero in on them.

Default That Bill Shipke played MLB for parts of four seasons . . .

. . . is about the only noteworthy observation that can be made regarding his career. He played 3B and proved that even in the dead ball era playing for Washington you couldn't last long hitting below .200. He had a little speed, which allowed him to accumulate a career WAR of 2.1 despite an OBP of .280.
