Before you start getting involved with the shredder, I think you should post the entire photo with a good scan front and back and let us take another look.

I want to like the Star Aaron and the Fleece Mop, but you would have to see the entire photo to make a definite determination, IMHO.

I want to like the Star Aaron and the Fleece Mop

I don't know what you mean by this??

And unfortunately the Aaron was thrown away but technically my garbageman doesn't come until Monday. I may be able to still salvage it. If I'm able, I'll take full pictures. Thanks!

Just the signature styles in the late eighties early 90's. "Star" Aaron and "Fleece Mop". That's the way the autographs read at first glance and is an old joke. Go run like rabbit with thorn in paw and retrieve it

Back then, I dubbed it "Stick" Aaron!

This is an IP from the era Chuck refers to. Back then, I was quite disheartened that the card was an O-Pee-Chee. Fast forward over 30 years, and I'm grateful it is! Good luck finding another one. The demand might not be the same as it is for its Topps counterpart, but if you want one, you'll have to pay Hank $350 to sign it with his very different current signature variation. This one was free, thanks to his appearance at a Big Brothers benefit. The last name is sloppy: Stick signed the card as he held it in his hand while standing up.

My best friend and I got Aaron's autograph at a show back in 1992. After getting his sig we both looked down at our autographs, then looked up at each other and in unison said "Who the hell is Stan Aaron?"
