Dave Kingman playing for the Red Sox.
With him being guy who hit a lot of very long popups, him playing in Fenway half the season would probably have us saying "McGwire Sosa and Bonds made a good run at the season HR record, but just didn't get there. Unless he tried too hard with that looming wall so close. And didn't get enough hits. Then maybe he actually would have been the first 40HR sub .200 hitter.
