That looks very different than the ones on the regular SR autograph card.

Yes it does.

The one I posted above was when Jeter's autograph evolved from his early 1994 sig to his 1995-circa autographs.

That's really interesting for a few reasons.

The mail ins were a wrapper redemption offer. I'd have thought that SR would have gotten all the cards they planned on having signed done at one time.
Obviously an earlier style wouldn't have happened after a later style, so they must have had the inserts signed before the regular cards.

And with that much evolution, it probably was a fairly long time between the signings.

I wonder if the original plan was to just have the inserts signed?

The 95 set, had some inserts that I never got in packs, and that I never saw signed until months after they came out.

Derek's autograph evolved a lot between 1992 and 1997. Those are the only autographs of his that I collect, except for his "2000 Upper Deck Master Collection" autograph ( I own the entire set).

Chris I am obviously corrected as that is a great signed card. The glaring difference in your card vs the enormous amount of fakes is yours is not numbered. I unfortunately delt with Signature Rookies in 1995 as they were falling apart and I know they sent out a number of nice cards in small numbers to try and appease unhappy customers that were waiting on inserts to be redeemed. Did you recive the card directly from Signature Rookies?
