Help me finish my Yankees collection

I will be breaking up a near set of Collins-McCarthy in my upcoming auction, March 30-April 10th. I know there is a Pipp in a Yankees team lot and perhaps the Hugh High as well in a lot or as a a solo.

This sounds like an enormously impressive and interesting set. But who are these Yankees you speak of? Do you mean the Highlanders?

Ha, yes... well in technical terms it’s made of Highlanders and Yankees since they crossed in 1913.
