I have sold everything I had twice. I do not miss one thing I had.

The second time I sold, I purchased a house at the Beach. Way more useful than a piece of cardboard or wood

Yet you still hang out on collecting chat board and make posts? Kind of odd. I assume you just bide your time and wait for opportunities like this to talk about having sold everything. Twice. To each his own I guess.

Being a lifelong Montreal Expos Fan I would never get rid of these 2 items , 1st, my set of 5 opening day tickets to The Expos 1st home game ever ,and 2nd, my Autograph Roberto Clemente signed Program from a game at Jarry Park in 1969

Not much of a reach for me:

Cousin Ray...

BTW, according to the poster he KO'd two HOFers (McLarnin, Terris) and beat a third (Petrolle).

That makes perfect sense.

I sold my boat years ago. I hang out on chat boards where people excitedly talk about the boats they are going to buy and the fun they are going to have with their kids fishing. In order to help people out I tell them how stupid it is to own a boat and how relieved I am to have sold mine years ago. People have told me many times how helpful my comments are.

LOL, love this. I talked to many people this past summer who owned boats and were self-proclaimed avid boaters but they came back with the same response. The two best days you have when you own a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it!! Might be a little more meaningful up here in Canada as the boating season is only 40-50% of what it might be down in the southern states but it still rings true.

Another one was....... B.O.A.T. ......Bring on another thousand $$$ because up here you have to pay to put it in in the spring, take it out in the summer, store it, have it maintained yearly, etc..........

Default 1903 Horner Composite

The only thing of value from my first collection that stayed put. It might get sold someday but I am mighty proud of it. It is the only thing on my office walls.

Paul probably is still kicking himself over this trade. My oldest signed card and perhaps oldest front signed tobacco card.

Mike R.- I have done the same thing with my 1989 HOF book, the first I had sign it was Luke Appling, last year added Steve Carlton and it a couple of months I will be able to add Ted Simmons and Lee Smith.
