Is there any way you could post an up close picture of the "Bomb em Birds" pin-back? I've been looking for one, that's in decent shape, for a while now and your example looks nice. It's one of my favorite sayings on a pin-back and/or banner.

Sorry for the glare. The orange ribbon is a tad faded and has a tiny pin hole, but otherwise it’s in good shape.

Yes; looks great to me. I need to find one of those one day... Thanks for posting the picture of the pin-back.

Day 28 (January 28, 2020 – 028)

On Day 28 I’m going to celebrate my late father’s birthday (January 28th) with the picture of a 20 year old Brooks with Carl Sawatski, at the time, with the Milwaukee Braves. I mentioned earlier that my dad was originally from NJ and when he was young he was friends with the Sawatski kids, (Marcella, Chester and Carl), when they lived in Mountain View, NJ. My father played both football and baseball with Carl when he was younger and followed Carl’s career in baseball. My dad really liked the Sporting News picture with Carl and Brooks since he was a fan of both of these great guys. It’s just a fond memory I have of my father telling me all about growing up and playing sports with some really tough and unique individuals (was definitely a different era).

Default Action Cartridge

Not sure if you have ever seen a sealed version of this. The price was $1.29.
The back has other movies listed. I love the Advertisement on the front !

Slow Motion (crank the handle slower)
Instant Replay (crank the handle backwards)
Stop action (don't crank the handle)

I have two others but they are the sealed yellow box. I have never been able to watch the movie. Has anyone ever seen the movie? Love to know the film content.

While from his post Orioles playing days, here is a late 1970's game used bat of Etchebarren...I had him sign it when he managed the Aberdeen Ironbirds:

Bill,

Really like the Etchebarren bat. Do you have all your bats displayed?

Mark:

I'd say I have about 70% of them displayed at any one time. I have a few racks/cases set up strategically throughout the house (here are a couple):

Quitcrab, I have never seen one sealed in the original blister pack. That is amazing!

I do have a sealed copy, so I've never seen the movie either.

Default Orioles Season Summaries

Today I would like to highlight an area of my collection that may be familiar to a few of you, but I dare say many may not have seen before. At the end of the season, the Orioles usually produce some sort of season summary, generally for internal use or media purposes. Over the years, the style has varied a bit, but I find the info to be invaluable if you enjoy the history of the Orioles as I do. I would love to get a complete run, but that's probably a goal I'll never achieve. I try and pick them up whenever I come across them, which isn't that often. If anyone has more information or any others for sale, I am definitely interested...

I have the following season summary reports 1961-1968, 1990-1994, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006-2008, and 2014.

I also have reports from 1978, 1981, 1983-1989 (these were called organization books, but have similar information).

Alan,

Very nice pieces. I bet they are informative. I’ve seen a few over the years, but never did pick any up. Did the O’s do them every year for sure?

Nice Scott; very cool unopened Action Cartridge. I never had the viewer for the cartridge so I’ve never seen it. Would be cool to view that’s for sure.

Is that cool or what!! Where did you acquire the viewer? Well, break out the Brooksie and watch it for us...

Also, I'd like to see the football if you're able to locate them as well. You have some great stuff.
