"Hourglass" Card - Trimmed?

That looks more like what is called a diamond cut. It is also o/c left-right

Many diamond cuts are factory cut that way - falls under centering category - definitely distracting to the eye - not sure if a diamond cut is any greater likelihood that a card has been altered - I would imagine if the card measures right then it would just indicate a poor cut at the factory.

Likely original, if the cuts had different angles that is a red flag for tampering.
