You can put a sticky note on the slab with your requests, but they reserve the right to ignore them. Once you submit, you probably want to call their customer service to make sure it was done properly. You can put it on shipping hold so that once you get notified it's been completed, you can make sure it's been done right.
In order for it to stay in properly, they may need to put it in the mylar baggie that makes it harder to scan.
