I tried staying out of the postcard market so there goes that. From the writing on the back of the Max Carey PC, it looks like it came from the family of player James Viox, who's applying the tag on Max. Circa 1916.

Chris the Max Carey postcard photo was taken at Whittington Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Great cards!

A couple cool team PCs. I have always really liked the Burke & Atwell image.

Nice too see many new postcards that havent been shown. My favorite are always the foldout postcards! I need to scan my Grand Pa when he played for the local Michigan team back around 1910-15. RPPC's are awesome when they come with stories behind them.

Yes! On the back Mrs. Viox wrote it was 1916 in Hot Springs.

I definitely want a Max Stein baseball PC.

New addition to the checklist for the D & K Publishing series of postcards related to the Britt-Nelson championship bout that I collect:

HOFer Battling Nelson shown. Postmarked from Fresno, CA in August 1906. I love the fact that new cards from this 113 year old set are still being discovered.

Some awesome looking postcards. I just started getting into postcards a year ago and am already starting to look into sports ones. Right now only have some modern ones though.
