Maybe you could cut the half into 100 pieces and sell for $10 each.

I bet one of the custom card makers could make you 100 custom cards, and you could imbed a little fragment of your Mantle as a "relic" for the custom cards. Bet those would actually sell...

I think for a '52 mantle, card restoration would be the way to go. If you find the right guy, it could do a world of difference. That's a better idea than chopping it up into 100 pieces. As long as you're honest about it, people will understand and not be upset.

A previous thread shows how it worked with a Wagner.
