1905 Leon "Red" Ames original photo from Matty McIntyre's personal scrapbook
I just bought this great 1905 rookie era photo of Leon "Red" Ames from Ray Holmes on the BST.
Red Ames was the 1st pitcher to hurl 9 innings of no-hit ball, only to lose the game in the 10th inning- Opening Day 1909... I really love the quality and composition of this particular photo of Red Ames. Last edited by Scott Garner; 10-04-2019 at 04:30 AM.
